Using materials for your garden that you can find locally.

This is the next installment of Keltiklady's Blog. Yes the garden is growing. As the plants continue to grow it reminds one of one's place in the multi-verse. We are looking forward to the day when we can start harvesting our crops and preserving the bounty of our garden.
When I started the garden this year, I knew I was going to need bricks or stones to outline the beds, compost, top soil and mulch. Due to the high cost of gasoline and the resultant grocery higher prices, it became necessary to expand the garden area. Yes, cost was a major factor. And due to limited financial resources, it became necessary to find a way to achieve the garden expansion. What resources were available locally? I had no idea but I was determined to find out. What I discovered was that there were two recycling centers in the immediate area. Both could supply compost, top soil and also mulch. One of the recycling centers also took in concrete, bricks and stones. These were free for the asking. It took many trips to the recycling centers for materials. But, every journey begins with one small step. Pretty soon you are aware how far down the Path you have journeyed. What was just a dream, has now become a reality. I have a beautiful garden which is growing healthful herbs, vegetables and lovely flowers. No, I have not got fruit bushes or trees planted yet. Give me time.
The point of this post today is to reinforce the statement, "Believe in yourself and your dreams."
When I started this project this Spring, I had no idea where the materials were to come from to make it possible. I put out the thoughtform to the, "Great and Good Higher Powers That Be." And the means to accomplish my goals were made known to me. It still took hard work and determination to see the project completed. When we allow ourselves to become more receptive to the forces of Nature and to work in harmony with them, it is amazing what can be accomplished.

Welcome to Keltiklady's Blog

Well everthing has to have a beginning so this is the start of Keltiklady's Blog. We will offer a variety of topics for discussion and information.

What with the gas prices and the potential for food shortages, we have planted vegetables in our expanded garden. And look forward to preserving the bounty of the garden. Every day I can see a change. More little plants are poking their leaves up through the soil, making their presence known. The garden has been a way of getting exercise, taking care of my family by raising organicly grown food and also doing earth magic. Connecting with the earth, allows for a peaceful time of meditation. By taking care to ensure your enviroment is healthy for plants and animals, growing organic fruits and vegetables and doing your part to keep the air and water clean goes a long way to improve the enviroment. If everyone can make even some small changes, that will make a surprising difference in the health of the Planet.
